Collections Overview

The Data Management screen is your central hub for every dataset you’ve connected to Provably. Here, you can see a bird’s-eye view of your active collections, their current visibility status, and the set query price.

• Automatic Preprocessing: Once you finish adding a new collection, the preprocess phase starts automatically. This step prepares your data for secure proof generation, so you’ll see a status indicator while the system gets everything ready.

You can run preprocessing again if the database has new data by simply pressing the “refresh” button in data management.

CAUTION [Re-running Preprocessing]

• If you choose to run the preprocessing step again, all proofs generated up to that point will be invalidated.
• We are currently working on a feature to provide historical versions of different preprocesses so you can maintain older proofs while updating your data. For now, please ensure you have saved or verified any critical proofs before re-running the process.

Managing your Collections

Once your collection is live, you aren't locked into your initial settings. You can find all your active collections on the Data Management dashboard.

• Making Changes: If you need to rename a collection, adjust the price, or toggle different columns, just click on the collection and hit Edit. The options are the same as the ones you saw during setup.
• Updating Access: You can jump into the User Access tab at any time to invite new organizations or revoke permissions.
